About

Hello.  If you’re reading this, then you’re probably a cool person. 🙂

This blog is mostly a way for me to get my thoughts out without bugging my friends and loved ones all the time.  My plan is to make this blog a place to discuss science, technology, philosophy, sociology, and any random thoughts that cross my mind that day.

I am a nerd who still plays Dungeons and Dragons.  I am also a young man who supports the rights of all people.  I like to think that I am a feminist, masculinist, anti-raceist, and supporter of homosexual rights.  If I had to put a label on myself, I would say that I am a Secular Humanist.  I support the rights of all people as long as the rights of everyone are supported.

I am a martial artist, writer, blogger, liberal, and lover of the arts.  I love books and movies.  I love Conan the Barbarian, Spiderman, Smallville, Sociology, TrueBlood, and anything written by Joss Whedon.

I love to discuss and talk about different ideas, so feel free to add any thoughts you have.  I’ll do my best to respond to any comments you guys have so let’s get the discussion going.

I want to make it known that I will not censor anyone who wants to comment on my blog.  I will only deny a comment for the following reasons:

1 the comment reveals or threatens my personal life, or the personal lives of the people close to me.  If you know me personally, do not use my name or personal information in your comment.  I wish to be anonymous in this blog to keep my loved ones and myself safe.

2 the person commenting is repeating an argument without adding to the debate. Your argument will be given a fair representation on this blog.  But I will not tolerate people who cannot engage in an adult conversation, and simply say the same thing over and over.  So if you plan to say, “gay people cannot get married,” I will let you say it once.  But, if that is the only thing that you are saying, then you are not actually contributing to the conversation and you will only get the one comment until you start to debate like an adult.

3 the comment is made to encourage violence against another person or groups of people.   I do not condone violence unless it is used in self defense.  So if you say that a particular blogger, person, or group of people should be killed, beaten, or harmed in any way; I will not give you a voice on my blog.  This blog will be a safe place to voice opinions for every one who wishes to comment.

That being said, please voice your opinions.  If you thing that something that I have said is good, let me know.  If you think that I am wrong, let me know.  I want this blog to be a place where ideas are expressed and debated.

I get your thoughts about your self and respect that. “This blog is mostly a way for me to get my thoughts out without bugging my friends and loved ones all the time.” I understand that thought. What are your medical credentials? What makes U a medical expert? I am curious because my wife for some reason values your thoughts about NOT using Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide. I am not upset. I just simply want to know your credentials. I do not care to get into a discussion on the subject either. I just want to know what makes U an expert?

I myself am not a medical expert, If I did not include that in the post, then I will be sure to fix that. What I am doing however is relaying the advice of a few medical experts that I have talked to. One is the chief of pediatric surgery and cardiology at a local hospital, as well as two pharmacists.

You don’t have to believe me, but those are a few of the people and papers that I am working with when I wrote this. If you want to learn more from experts, I would recommend that you find a few medical experts and see if you can talk to them. I hope that clears things up, and thank you for pointing out that I forgot to include a medical warning on my posts.
